Freshwater Real Estate Snapshot

Known for many years as Harbord (since the 1880’s) it has recently returned to being called Freshwater, after its original land grant in 1818.

This suburbs focal points are Freshwater Beach and the relaxed and friendly “Freshie Village” shopping strip.

Iconic pastimes abound in Freshwater such as nippers on a sunny Sunday morning, and swimming laps in the Freshwater Ocean pool. Obviously surfing is popular with the proximity to Freshwater and Queenscliff Beaches which are well known surfing spots.

Freshwater has seen a resurgence in popularity for families wanting to live close to the beach. Original homes are now hard to find as most have undergone a transformation through renovations and extensions to produce homes of style and distinction. Oh, and did we say it’s popular ?!!!
